Patrick and Connie Dando officially opened the doors to Houston Partners Realty in January of 2013. Since then, the company has grown to include seven team members.
Their story actually began back in 2004, when Patrick was approached by a developer to assist in the ground up development of a 37 unit townhome complex. He managed all aspects of the development: designing marketing material, setting up sales office, coordinating the design of the interiors in the model homes, and selling all 37 units.
In 2005, the same developer purchased 92.8 acres of commercial property on Space Center Blvd. Patrick’s focus was on the townhomes, however within six months of cold calling prospects for the 92 acres, he had executed contracts with Sonic, Christian Bros Automotive, and a 14 acre tract for a 252 unit Class-A multi-family complex.
During this time, they decided to form PMD Realty Advisors, which was eventually changed to Dando Realty. In mid-2012, they closed on several commercial contracts and decided it was time to expand, add agents, and grow from a mom-and-pop to a full service real estate company.
They leased 2,200 sq ft of office space and Houston Partners Realty was born. Even though they have experienced tremendous growth, they are still a small boutique real estate company. They offer clients a more hands-on approach because they do not work on volume alone.
HPR has key clients in the medical industry, commercial development, and restaurant industry. They also represent a couple of prominent Houstonians. However, they still serve clients that may simply want to lease a townhome or small warehouse space. HPR currently has listings from $19mm to leasing a $1,200 townhome.
HPR takes great pride in treating all of their clients the same. Their goal is to make sure each real estate transaction goes as smoothly and as stress free as possible for their clients.
